The "Ultimate" is a five day version of our legendary MOAB SLICKWEEK pumped up with every luxury and addition service we provide. After a decade of refining the mountain bike day tour series format, the Ultimate is just what it sounds like. This is more than a chance to enjoy the unique sport where surfing meets cycling, it is the opportunity of a lifetime for an avid mountain biker. Welcome to the rock of the Entrada, Navajo, Kayenta, and Moenkopi geological layers and welcome to the choice luxuries we have found that allow you to ride harder, enjoy each day more and take home cherished memories and amazing photographs.
The exposed rock of southeastern Utah can be extremely open and deceptive in its geologic complexity. Slickrock areas can be frighteningly massive or extremely tight, twisted and mental. Each Ultimate package is custom-tuned for client(s) to be challenging and difficult, but safety concerns always come first. Every initial ride with Dreamride is an evaluation of skills, fitness and maturity. Lee Bridgers' memorized slickrock routes are invisible, varying from moderate scenic touring (where you can actually look up from the trail) to full-blown surfing the halfpipes and moguls for endless miles. Lee's flora-and-fauna-friendly slickrock techniques and skills classes have been featured on ABC's Good Morning America, in Mountain Bike Action and Sunset magazines. His mountain bike stunt production work can be seen in the IMAX film, EVEREST.
The Ultimate is ALWAYS PRIVATE and includes all SUPER ELITE PACKAGE OPTIONS as well as rental bikes and six nights in Moab's most luxurious lodgings just yards from our shop space and guesthome (a private clubhouse for your party). Combine the Ultimate with the purchase of a new DREAMRIDE BIKE for absolute mountain bike ecstacy.
Real Privacy! Guiding for the Ultimate focuses on getting you to a place where you will not see another mountain biker. We work with clients to maintain a low profile, hopefully out of sight and mind of everyone except Miki in the Dreamride office, who keeps track of us for safety's sake. Our groups are small for your enjoyment, efficency, access and low environmental impact. We do everything within the cushion of safety to leave absolutely no trace of our passing. After being alone with your guide, you may want something different and social in town. If so, we recommend booking during Rod Benders (hot rod show), the Canyonlands Film Festival, Moab Music Festival, the Moab Folk Music Festival or another event of personal interest. The Ultimate began as an out-of-the-ordinary honeymoon package. Dreamride will arrange weddings in remote and beautiful spots, formal or informal. Get hitched under an arch or in a box canyon. Get married on the bike. We take care of paperwork, planning, and special touches.
Dreamride's MOAB BIKE BOUTIQUE is small pro shop in the heart of Moab, strictly for the benefit of Dreamride vacation clients. The small shop is packed with beautiful bikes, components, clothing, necessities, collectables, rocks, fossils, Navajo jewelry and rugs, and other special gifts.
Mountain bikes are provided. Just bring shoes, clothes and your favorite helmet and gloves. Ride a mountain bike custom built in our shop for Moab, or purchase a custom VENTANA, MOOTS or DREAMRIDE mountain bike as part of your package. Pick the bike up here and use the rough rides to tune it to perfection. Afterward, the bike is shipped to your door in its own hardshell flight case. No sales tax. When you call to book, ask about current deals available ONLY to Ultimate vacation clients.
All SUPER ELITE services are included (at a reduced price by comparison with our daily SE rates): Expanded range, night ride options, amazing flexibility for weather or other activities, etc. Equipment is included (standard rentals are available at all times). After-ride food and drink is provided every day (you will be pleasantly surprised). Two buffalo meals during your stay are included (especially planned to keep you strong for the possibility of two rides in one day at least once during the series). A breakfast or two may be included, if necessary for early morning departures.
*Lodgings in a level 5 suite at the best upscale hotel in downtown Moab are included. You will be just yards from our door. You can opt for an apartment or condo (just a few blocks away) at the same price, if you desire a full kitchen and more space. Upgrade to a level 6 suite for $270.

Daily slickrock rides are selected to your personal abilities. If you are strong intermediate to expert riders, expect to be alone with your guide in the most remote, exciting and beautiful natural settings imaginable. Your guide is author of MOUNTAIN BIKE AMERICA: MOAB, considered by mountain bikers, publishers and literary reviewers alike as the best ever. The 400 page book is free to guests as part of the Ultimate package, shipped with a tour packet that serves as an introduction to Moab and our unique way of providing safety and natural history interpretation prior to challenging rides inside a relaxing vacation. Privacy ~ Highest Quality
The Ultimate is private for quality's sake, providing solos, couples, and mature groups of three the best services we can provide, lodgings in the best location, and the best rides we have access to.
Lodging and Transport
The Ultimate includes six nights of accommodations at the Gonzo Inn, mountain bike rentals, and comfortable transport in a Toyota Sequoia. Shuttles to daily rides and to and from Canyonlands Field are provided.
Rates
There is a 7.8% state sales tax on all services and equipment.
*Expanded private chef services are provided at additional charge and must be reserved in advance (some, but not all, meals are included in the price below--we only provide meals that are completely necessary for the best riding situation--for example, early morning breakfasts). Flights to and from Moab are NOT included.
$5995 for a private individual. Ask about special reduced-rate lodgingsf or solos!
$6680 for a private couple. (upgrade to jet tub suite for $270)

*If you would like the luxury of additional private meals prepared by our chef, expect $50 or more per person for dinners, $30 or more per person for full service breakfasts. The rate for simple food preparation is $30 an hour plus food costs. Meals can be prepared and refrigerated, if you prefer to serve yourselves. All food is prepared from organic produce and meats. Our buffalo is grass fed and kosher killed. Please reserve chef services in advance. Let us know of any special nutritional needs (Miki Bridgers is a fine vegan chef, as well) and any wines you would prefer.

A SLICKROCK SKILLS CLINIC can be part of the Slickrock Ultimate. Prepare for the series of rides to come by choosing to add or substitute a day of intensive skills instruction. Learn the tricks of riding rock and getting great action photos. Skills clinics are taught by Lee Bridgers, company owner and assisted by one or two guides. To upgrade your initial skills day to a full-on clinic, or to turn one day into a photo clinic, add $200 for each participant. To add an additional skills day at the start of the five day package (the six days can be broken up to allow for rest days), add $500 per person. An additional skills day and any rest days included in a series will mean extra lodging charges.

Modify your trip to include a skills clinic, add rest days in the middle of your stay, combine other slickrock locations in southeastern Utah and Northern Arizona AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. Dreamride is authorized dealer of VENTANA, MOOTS and others. We build our own DREAMRIDE line of full custom long travel mountain bikes from the ground up for one discriminating enthusiast at a time.
Add a skills clinic to your package. Ultimate clients can substitute a clinic for the first one to three days in the package.
Substitute a hike for any day in the package. Split up for different activities at any point to allow a more skilled member of the group a chance at bigger rock, or to allow someone in the group with interests in natural history or science to visit petroglyph sites or swim during the heat of summer.
Include a day of riding on the Navajo Reservation. You may plan your Ultimate Moab Vacation to include two days on the rez with a night of lodgings in Bluff, Utah. Only the most mature, skilled and fit riders should consider rez rides.
