THEY DON'T CALL IT MOUNTAIN BIKE MECCA FOR NOTHING! In Moab canyon country the forces of nature have created a paradise of undulating rock, convoluted desert to mountainous terrain amid a maze of canyons and mesas. During the 50's and 60's the mining industry probed this entire area in search of uranium and other minerals, creating a network of doubletrack trails across every kind of geological formation known to man. These funky old mining routes take you into very remote country and are more rugged and solitary than what you will find in crowded national parks, at times much more scenic, and certainly more complex and confusing. Some of our newer singletracks have been designed with the stupid tourist in mind, but they can still get you lost if you don't pay attention. As a mountain biker, your first challenge is choosing a trail appropriate to your skills and desires. The next is getting there, then finding your way in relative safety. Most important is avoiding unwanted "adventures." Dreamride is here to help with everything from guides to accommodations. We don't have "Adventure" in our company name for a reason. Adventures are for those who do not know what they are doing and have little hope of keeping the wheels on. We are known for being prepared, knowing the trail and keeping you on trails suitable for your abilities.
"Mountain Bike America's Moab guide is setting a new standard for guidebooks. Lee Bridgers' first-hand accounts give the reader a sense that they have some behind-the-scenes information about Moab." ~ Brian Fiske, Senior Editor of Mountain Bike Magazine
By association with the Bureau of Land Management, the National Parks Service, the National Forest Service, the Utah State Educational Trust Lands, Utah Sovereign Lands, and private land owners, Dreamride offers more permitted trails in the Moab area than any other outfitter. Dreamride LLC offers well over 150 routes in the Moab area alone. All vacations require a skills evaluation and environmental mountain bike training session prior to access to sensative environments. Advanced routes or extreme slickrock are only advised for very experienced cyclists. The more you ride with us, the more you learn about the environment, the more we learn about you, the more exotic the rides become.
