Similar to the GS range of custom frames, the 18 Ready-Custom size configurations are based on analyzing the tens of thousands of actual custom frames the company has produced over 39 years. At Dreamride we have to admit, who else is more qualified to define geometry patterns that are most likely to fit the cycling population than Serotta? The numbers are as good as it gets and the ride quality is spectacular, and only if you have a unique body type will you need to venture into full custom territory to get better frame. Ottrott SE, GS and Ready Custom utilize Serotta's experience in optimizing the use of carbon, titanium and cycle-dynamics. The Ottrott seeks greatest advantage through the use of the materials' unique qualities in order to improve performance. Multi-modulus, Torsion Core, rider tuned Carbon from Serotta Composites maximizes power transfer by minimizing effects of torsional loading when you stomp on the pedals. Serotta carbon is also engineered to reduce road vibration that can cause fatigue, while the patented ‘ST’ stays provide increased high speed maneuverability.

A Special Mountain Raod Package for the Serotta Ottrott
The La Sal Mountain Road Group was originally inspired by Moab's weird, rough and lonely high desert and alpine backroads that go up and down and sideways, then straight as an arrow for twenty miles. This build has been modified for the Ottrott to simply combine low mountain pass gearing with a very racy parts group built for speed climbing and descending. This build handles difficult road conditions and huge mileage. The wheelset is handbuilt at Dreamride from Chris King or Campagnolo Record hubs and a choice of carefully selected rims. Wheels sport 32 3cross spokes for reliability and comfort over rough roads.

Serotta Colorado RC Price Point Builds
A price point parts group is the way to get the best bang for the buck. You may find that getting an Ottrott with a mid-range SRAM group and an Easton wheelset brings the bike into your price range.
Even with an Ottrott, that may seem out of the range of most budgets, there is always a method for best use of funds. Ready Custom is the first place to start. If you are getting an Ottrott SE or GS, then compromises due to budget are harder to come by, simply because you are mostly likely not getting this bike to compromise one bit.
The way price point works is the customer states an approximate price along with requests for a certain level of componentry and we get to work finding deals to shove as much quality and beauty into the project as possible. Factory deals happen unexpectedly and being flexible in your component choices allows us to follow any industry specials and promotionals. A Dreamride-built wheelset helps keep the price, while increasing quality and durability.
